Airplane accessibility
During the flight
At airBaltic, we want everyone to feel comfortable and safe when flying with us. That’s why our fleet of Airbus A220-300 aircraft includes a range of features to make air travel more accessible for passengers with reduced mobility or different needs.
- Movable armrests on all seats
All seats on our aircraft have armrests that can be lifted, except for those in the first row. This helps passengers who need a little more room to sit comfortably or to transfer from a wheelchair. - Aisle wheelchair available
We provide a special wheelchair on board so you can move from your seat to the lavatory. - Large cargo door
Our cargo door is 84 cm width x 1,17m high – big enough to fit most types of wheelchairs and mobility devices. - Stairs or alternative boarding options: Some domestic and international airports use stairs for boarding and exiting. In these cases, lifts or stair chairs are available to assist passengers with reduced mobility.
